B30 is one of the toughest and combat rugged phone from the CAT. The company calls it as the ultimate survivor for the toughest of toughest environments. It is IP67 rated with waterproof up to 1m for 30 minutes and impervious to dust. The phone is covered by rubberized grip which does not allow the phone to slip out of your hand. It is even drop tested from 1.8M of height.

The device uses Proprietary Operating System with Spreadtrum 7701 Processor on the top. It is backed by 256 MB RAM with an internal storage space of 1 GB, which can be expanded further up to 16 GB using microSD card. It uses a removable Li-Ion 1000 mAh battery to power the device. It provides 6 hours of talk time and 10 days of stand-by-time. The phone does feature a single 2 MP camera on the rear side with LED flash light. The 2-inch display of the B30 uses QCIF TFT technology with a screen resolution of 176 X 220 pixels. Moreover, the display is built with scratch-proof glass. It also supports connectivity features like EDGE, 3G, Blluetooth 2.1, micro-USB, USB-OTG, Wi-Fi and GPS.
