Coolpad Note 5 Lite is a budget smartphone featuring 5-inch display in a metal unibody outfit. The screen is made with a 2.5D curved glass in the IPS LCD touch screen having a screen resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels with 16M colors. The phone sits on Android 6.0 Marshmallow platform with 1 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6735CP processor on the top. It is backed by 3 GB RAM with an internal storage space of 16GB, which can be expanded further up to 64GB using microSD card. The device is powered by non-removable Li-Ion 2500 mAh battery with a long lasting life. Altogether the phone weighs 148 grams and measures 145.3 mm in length.

The Note 5 gets a 13 MP rear facing camera with LED flash light and 8 MP front facing camera with LED flash for taking selfies. The rear camera is capable enough to shoot videos at 1080p quality. Moreover, the camera features geo-tagging, HDR, face detection, panorama and touch focus options. The device supports connectivity features like 3G HSDPA, 4G LTE, microUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Rear fingerprint sensor is also present in the phone for security locking.
