The new LG K10 (2017) is the updated version of the original K10 launched in 2016. This phone was showcased at the 2017 Consumer Electronic Show held at Las Vegas, along with their K-range of models like K3, K4, K8 and K10. It is rather a mid-range smartphone with all required amenities at an affordable price tag.
K10 follows a curved elemental design principle which has a 2.5D Arc glass design with metallic U-frames similar to the sibling K8. The finger print sensor and power button, both has taken their place at the back of the phone. It gets a 5.3-inch screen with IPS LCD display having a resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels. The phone is accompanied by a smart cover, which displays alerts such as message, calls and alarms. Inorder to cope up with the market rivals, LG has improved the design and quality of this phone.
This phone runs on 1.5 GHz Octa-Core Mediatek MT6750 processor with 2GB RAM and an internal storage space of 16GB. This can be expanded upto 2TB using microSD card. It is based on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat platform with Mali T860MP2 GPU. The entire device is backed by 2800mAh Li-ion removable battery with long lasting life. LG has included many advanced features in this model. They are; 112 SOS-which can be initiated by pressing of power key 3 times and it will generate the emergency call automatically, 120 degree 5 MP wide angle selfie camera with auto shot, full featured 13 MP primary camera, quick share option and advanced fingerprint sensor for quick shutter function. Moreover, it gets GLONASS GPS, Compass, Proximity sensor and accelerometer.
